Teacher Evaluation of Open-Ended Project

General Observations

In general, this project went very well for most students. I had one group with a couple of students who refused to remain on task, but for the most part, the students were truly involved in this project and seemed to enjoy it. There were lots of cell-phone options and features which prompted many more questions than I had anticipated, but overall, this organization and direction seemed to work really well. Students did not run into any problems with the mathematics of the problem, which I found encouraging and rewarding as a mathematics teacher. I would certainly use this project in the future.
